We are seeking a Fullstack Developer Lead to join a large-scale, high-performance engineering team within a global fintech environment. The role focuses on delivering high-quality software solutions, driving engineering excellence, and embedding quality practices throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong collaboration and testing leadership.


Responsibilities

• Lead fullstack development using Java and React, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
• Drive holistic, quality-first engineering practices across agile teams.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies centered on quality (Retrospectives, risk modeling, collaborative test strategy).
• Pair with developers to implement testing, debug issues, and improve code quality.
• Implement and promote TDD, BDD, and ATDD across the team.
• Build automated tests using modern frameworks, prioritizing reliability, low maintenance, and fast execution within CI/CD pipelines.
• Advocate for developer-owned testing and quality mindset throughout delivery.
• Write SQL queries and generate test datasets to support testing and validation.

Must Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience, with recent roles at Senior or Lead level.
• 3+ years driving quality practices in agile teams, influencing testing strategy end-to-end.
• Strong experience facilitating agile ceremonies that support quality and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on experience pairing with developers for testing and debugging.
• 3+ years coding with Java and React (Fullstack).
• Solid experience applying and teaching TDD, BDD, and ATDD.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools aimed at building fast, reliable, low-maintenance automated tests.
• Strong understanding of developer-owned testing and the value of high-quality test coverage.
• 2+ years of database experience (writing SQL queries, generating test data).
